This formula contains no water. The probiotics are encapsulated and activated upon contact with moisture on the skin and the added prebiotics in Esse Moisturizer.

Acne - Probiotic skin care products containing prebiotics minimize the chance of sensitization, maintain a low pH level, and do not strip the skin of its natural oils. We've found that this serum works exceptionally well against acne when used in conjunction with a probiotic skincare product that contains prebiotics. We still haven't been able to figure out why. But to settle on the skin, endogenous lactic acid produced by Lactobacillus may be the key.

Eczema - Staphylococcus aureus colonizing the skin surface in large numbers is responsible for most eczema conditions. Staphylococcus aureus often takes the opportunity to invade the skin. They will dock with skin cells (keratinocytes), completely shorten the lifespan of skin cells, and damage the skin barrier function. Sensitive Skin Active Probiotic Serum contains billions of live Lactobacillus microbes that compete with Staphylococcus aureus for docking stations on skin cells. Once the Lactobacillus microbes dock with it, the skin cells can no longer dock with S. aureus and become healthier. Over time, the condition of eczema will be greatly improved. When paired with a moisturizer rich in prebiotics, the effect will be even more pronounced.

They also improve hydration by boosting lactic acid production and strengthening T-junction formation. This in turn strengthens barrier function, reduces inflammation and calms the skin by reducing redness and discomfort.

Instructions

Apply a thin layer at night after using All-Around Probiotic Probiotic Spray. Follow with a hydrating moisturizer or nourishing moisturizer. For the first time, it is recommended to use once a day, and gradually introduce Active Probiotic Serum for Sensitive Skin into your daily skin care routine. After 1-2 weeks, it can be gradually increased to twice a day. When skin condition improves, reduce usage to maintenance dose.

Please store in a place where the temperature is above 4°C and below 35°C.

Other uses

For milder symptoms, mix a small amount of serum into a suitable moisturizer and apply to face, neck and décolletage. Ideal for all skin that experiences seasonal dryness or irritation.
