Organic vs Natural

traditional and natural

Ordinary traditional products can claim to be natural even if they contain less than 0.01% natural extracts, so it is very important to distinguish between natural and organic products.

Some brands are truly all-natural. To convey this message to the public, brands can apply for natural certification (such as: Natrue, BDIH or COSMOS). These certification bodies will monitor and review their formula and production process before allowing manufacturers to use the certification body's logo on their products. Basically, there is no requirement that these products contain organic ingredients.

The basic rule is "if it's not certified natural, it's not natural."

organic

Likewise, if it's not certified organic, it's not organic. Organic skin care products contain herbs, oils and extracts produced without synthetic pesticides, fertilizers or genetically modified ingredients. In other words, organic skin care products are better for the environment and leave less chemicals on the skin. Certified organic cosmetic products are regulated by certification bodies that deal with food certification. These certification bodies have many requirements, including:

> It is stipulated that a specified ratio of ingredients in the product is certified organic

> Do not use controversial ingredients

> Inspection of production facilities and accounting records to ensure that these organic products can be traced all the way back to certified organic farmers

Esse has been certified organic by ECOCERT and has reached the international standard for natural and organic cosmetics (COSMOS).
